Time's up, now on to our next destination...
This week we're taking a little trip to the other side of the world to France.
What much is there to say about France. Well for starters....
wine, fashion, cars, the Eiffel Tower, love, art, food....
I think that gives you a pretty good explanation as to why I, along with many other people, want to visit the great country of France.
Check stop two off on my list of destination places. Stay tuned to see where we will be venturing to next week.
Safe Travels...

A Travel Through Time
Let's take a little trip back in time....
As you've read in my first blog post, I've traveled to numerous places in my life; 3 countries and 24 states.... I say that's a win in my books as a 21 year old! I want to give you a little bit of my thoughts and feelings on each place I've been so you can get a better understanding on my love for traveling and exploring the world.
My first stop outside of the U.S. was a trip to Canada. Like most people who have ventured to Canada, this trip was just right over the border to Niagara Falls. Even though it's not too far outside of the U.S., I highly suggest you take a trip if you've never been; it's still a whole different world!
Due to my brother playing hockey is whole life; my trips to Canada took place every couple years for a good 8-10 years. So as you can imagine, I've seen Canada and heard 'eh' way more times than the average American would like.
Not many can say that they've traveled to a poverty stricken country in Central America and loved it, but I am so proud to say that I am one of those people. The word love isn't even as strong of a word as I would like to use to explain my visits. I've had the pleasure of traveling to Guatemala twice in my life. Most people give me the strangest looks when I say that, but some words of advice... If you ever get the chance to go to a poverty stricken country like this, GO, your life will be forever changed!
A little history of how I randomly ended up in Guatemala not just once, but twice... My dad's uncle became a priest in the U.S. at a young age and quickly migrated to Guatemala where he single handedly opened up the biggest and most well-known orphanage in the country. So well-known that I have met the President of Guatemala and my mom has stayed in the house of the owner of Pepsi in South America.
While visiting these types of places, you will learn how to appreciate your life for what it's worth and take nothing for granted. But, you will also have the greatest pleasure of helping those in need. And while that may not help you in life, the rewarding feeling afterwards will be better than any help you could ever receive from someone else.
The last, and hopefully not last for long, country I have been to was Aruba. Can you say wow! The beauty you see there is unbelievable. I was lucky enough to travel there for a vacation and stay at an all-inclusive resort. And let me tell you, that is the way to go!
If you ever get the chance to go to a beach as beautiful as Aruba was, do not hesitate to jump on a plane and go! Kick your feet up, relax and get drinks delivered to you on the beach. I mean there's nothing much better than that, right?
As far as inside the U.S., I'm not going to bore you with 24 different stories of each place I've been, but I will let you in on the states I've been to.
It starts with Pennsylvania, obviously, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, can't forget DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Atlanta, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii! ....let me explain one thing though, I only count a state that I actually stop and do something in. So if I'm flying or driving through a state, I won't count that as being there.
I will say though, my favorite places to visit were without a doubt Massachusetts (Boston), Georgia and Hawaii!
